New Features on the MANRS Website
Today we’re introducing a few changes to our website to better highlight community contributions to routing security and to streamline access to MANRS resources.
The first thing you’ll notice is the new design. The website hasn’t changed much since MANRS began in 2014, and as the community has grown from strength to strength, we felt it was time for a refresh and some accessibility improvements. We hope the new menus help you find what you’re looking for faster, and provide a clearer path from information to action.
One key change is the live Observatory dashboard on the MANRS home page, showing the state of global routing security real-time. You can hover over each part of the pie chart for information, learn more about the Observatory, request partner/research access, and more.
Another update we love is the total number of participants right on the homepage. As shown below, there are now 809 participants across all four programs. We started the year with 750, so it is encouraging that MANRS has sustained rapid growth—all thanks to your commitment to routing security.
Under the new Community tab, you can find information about Ambassadors and Fellows, training, and events. Speaking of events, registration for RPKI Week 2022, which will take place from 4-8 July 2022, will be open soon—stay tuned for more details!
The Resources tab carries links to our reports, tools, and promotional materials, including presentation and Zoom backgrounds that you are free to use.
We hope these and many other changes we’ve put in place will make it a more pleasant experience using the website, and thus provide extra motivation to secure the Internet together.
As with all new websites, we might have missed something. If you find a broken link, typo, or other issue please let us know.
