MANRS offers a variety of educational and promotional resources to help improve routing security.

Implementation Guides

  • For Network Operators – The guide is targeted at stub networks and small providers, and captures the best current operational practices deployed by network operators around the world.
  • For Internet Exchange Points – To address the unique needs and concerns of IXPs, the community created a separate set of MANRS actions for IXP participants.

Training

Through a partnership with the Internet Society, we provide training to network administrators and engineers with some experience in networking and peering who are already familiar with Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs). These online materials and workshops are ideal for engineers configuring and managing routing networks at ISPs, IXPs, or NRENs, as well as managers interested in learning more about MANRS.

MANRS Observatory

The MANRS Observatory measures the level of networks’ compliance to MANRS, a key indicator of the state of routing security and the resiliency of the Internet.

Tools

MANRS offers a variety of tools to help improve routing security.

Explainers, Reports, and Research

Stay up-to-date with the latest reports about and research stemming from the MANRS project.

  • Explainers – Short, informative documents meant for non-experts.
  • Primers – How MANRS can help policymakers, enterprises, CSIRTS, ISPs, and online privacy advocates.
  • Research and Reports – Community reports, technical requirements, and research papers.

Promotional Materials

As a community-led initiative, we encourage everyone to promote MANRS via their channels. To help, we’ve compiled a small repository of useful media, templates, factsheets, and promotional materials.
