UPDATED! MANRS Steering Committee Elections Postponed One Week

On 1 October, we announced that nominations are now open for three seats on the MANRS Steering Committee. 

We received feedback from several participants that the original proposed election dates of 4-6 November were not ideal. We have therefore agreed to move the MANRS Steering Committee election to 11-13 November 2024. 

Nominations will remain open an extra week, too! Nominations are now open until 5 November 2024.

The other information in the original post still holds true:

1. Run for office. If you’re interested in helping guide MANRS, please fill out this nomination form. Everyone is eligible to serve on the Steering Committee – MANRS participation is not required. We’re particularly interested in candidates from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, to better ensure full representation amongst MANRS participants.  
2. Know your voting rep. Log into your MANRS Observatory account and check your profile (in the top right of the screen). It will tell you if you’re the primary contact for your organization, or who it is if it isn’t you. Contact us to make any changes before 25 October 2024.

• Online Election: 11-13 November 2024
• Results Announced: 20 November 2024
