As a key operator in Africa, it is important for Rofa Network to engage with MANRS and its partners to implement best practices to secure the internet global routing system.

The MANRS certificate is an excellent way to rent the safest and most efficient worldwide network. It's also a good way to demonstrate that your network follows a healthy set of rules and best practices. It is essential to the internet as a whole that everyone maintain clear and transparent communication when it comes to connections with the outside world.

My organization decided to join the MANRS community from the moment we chose to use our own Internet numbering resources. The consultancy supporting the Municipality with the deployment of IPv6 and the implementation of our own autonomous system introduced us to the MANRS program, and from there, we decided it is the best mechanism to securely publish our resources and, likewise, contribute to the security of the global Internet.In addition to being an example and role model with our experience for other public entities in Costa Rica.

We chose to implement MANRS actions because we want to contribute to a safer Internet for everyone. It is something that every Autonomous System should implement in its Network Operations.

There is few reason that our organization want to join MANRS Program :

1. Security Concern, joining MANRS demonstrates our commitment to better security practices, helping protect networks from cyber threats and attacks.
2. Coordination, the program encourages collaboration between Network Operators (ISP, IXP, CDN & Vendors), enabling better coordination in addressing complex security issues.
3. Contribution to a Better Internet, by participating, we want to contribute to creating a safer and more reliable internet ecosystem for all users.
4. Building Community, by joining MANRS we want connect with other professionals in the same field, build a strong network, and share knowledge and best practices.
5. Increasing Our Value, as one of MANRS members, we can increase the reputation and value of our network and company, demonstrating dedication to security and integrity.
