Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Filtering of Route Announcements
  • Action 2-1: Offer assistance to its members to maintain accurate routing information in an appropriate repository (IRR and/or RPKI)
  • Action 2-2: Offer assistance in implementing MANRS ISP Actions for the members

Why Association RomandIX Supports MANRS

RomandIX is an IXP based in Switzerland founded in 2017, currently in Lausanne with 10 members connected. We will be expanding to Geneva.We wanted to start an IXP directly with the best practices and while we were doing that, the Manrs IXP document came out. As we noticed, even small organisations can implement the basics Manrs actions easily. We hope to be able to motivate other IXPs to implement those Manrs on their infrastructure.
