Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information
Rowe Wireless helps secure our ISP network and our customers by implementing filtering of IP prefixes and only announce legitimate subnets and AS numbers we are authorized to originate.
Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses
Rowe Wireless implements source address validation in our routers and firewalls for our own end users and infrastructure. We implement multiple methods of anti-spoofing and filtering to prevent any and all packets with an invalid source IP address from entering or leaving our network. Rowe Wireless also will implement the CAIDA spoofer software in our network.
Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination
Rowe Wireless ensures and regularly audits that up-to-date contact information is entered and maintained in the appropriate RIR (or NIR) database and/or in PeeringDB as well as make contact information publicly available and strive to respond to other operators within 24-72 hours.
Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale
Rowe Wireless creates a valid Route Origination Authorization (ROA) for each IP prefix or set of prefixes it is legitimately authorized and intends to originate. Rowe Wireless is working towards implementing RPKI.
