Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information Strict route policies preventing BOGONS and unauthorized network CIDR propagation. Clients verification with CIDR and BGP communities to avoid route leaks.
  • Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses RP Filter strict on all BRAS, firewall with explicit deny for incorrect source addresses and BOGONS filter on all peers interfaces.
  • Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination Updated information on NIC.BR's WHOIS and Peering DB.
  • Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale RPKI with announced ASN and prefixes, updated IRR on TC.
