Implementation of MANRS Actions
- Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information I would like
- Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination no
- Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale No
Why STE Network Supports MANRS
The main reason is,when I was still using a private ASN on the intranet (The only facility in PeeringDB right now) and studying the BGP and OSPF etc with my friends thereAt that time, we had a lot of malfunctions caused by incorrect configurations Later we learned about filtering and learned that using RPKI and Route objects on the global network is a great tool for routingSo since I have a global ASN, I have doing filtering on all the routing device i own Even though I know my upstream will help me filter (mostly), but I still won't send illegal prefixes to my upstream to avoid accidents
