Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information
I apply very strict rules to all routes originated/announced from this ASN to make sure route leaks are virtually impossible to occur. RPKI-invalid routes are immediately dropped, and downstreams have manual as_path filtering to ensure they cannot announce a route under another ASN or prepend another ASN that is not theirs (including private ASNs)
Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses
On all edge routers, uRPF validation is performed to ensure IP spoofing is impossible from a downstream.
Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination
I have a fairly active NOC and emails sent to my NOC's mail are treated with maximum urgency to ensure that all problems that could arise from this network are solved quickly.
Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale
I publish all my originated routes and verify for RPKI-invalid routes which are immediately dropped regardless from which peering session it reaches my edge routers.
