Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information The University of Guam only announces its address space and that of MARIIX, which it operates.
  • Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses uRPF on campus VLANs. We block incoming packets using source addresses from our address space and we block all bogon address space for incoming and outgoing sources and destinations.
  • Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination We have our information updated on our RIR (ARIN) and PeeringDB
  • Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale Routing Registry Objects and ROAs are kept up to date.
