Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Filtering of Route Announcements Our IRRDB filtering policy allow more specific prefix advertisement. This means that if there is a valid route object for a /22, then all the subnets of that /22 will be allowed. We also allow unknown rpki, only filtering invalid ones.
  • Action 2-1: Offer assistance to its members to maintain accurate routing information in an appropriate repository (IRR and/or RPKI) We assisted members update routing information.
  • Action 2-3: Indicate MANRS participation on the member list and the website
  • Action 4: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination between network operators There is a discussion mailing list used to share important info with our members
  • Action 5: Provide monitoring and debugging tools to the members We have a public looking glass which shows detailed information on BGP status and prefix advertisment.
